What is Paint Protection Film?

Paint protection film or PPF is a thermal polyurethane film with a hydrophobic top coat. You can think of it as a sort of high tech, flexible plastic that's designed to absorb impacts, like rock chips, as well as guarding against minor abrasions, chemicals, bird droppings, and being highly puncture resistant. It is also UV resistant, protecting your paint from fading and even clear coat failure. The main point of PPF is to keep your vehicle looking as good as possible for as long as possible.
